Since we have opted to go for the OEM P4 1.5Ghz it does not come with any goodies. Therefore we have to use a third party HSF (Heatsink/Fan) combo to work with the Pentium 4's socket 423. And let me tell you the market is very scarce of any phenomenal HSF units for the P4. None really jumped out at us as the
"Pick Me! Pick Me!" type except for this one.
This puppy is quite peppy. This ball bearing fan can blow 36cfm at 5000rpm at only 30db of sound! This whole thing measures in at 60x60x25 mm. We also like how it just looks so damn sweet with the anodized indigo color, it makes it look very sexy so you can show it off to all your friends at LAN parties. And with 36cfm of air it's sure to cool your CPU. all the way up to 2Ghz. Oh and don't forget to get some grease or something for this puppy.

Our T-bird here is retail so it does come with a retail HSF united, but let's face it, the coming of spring means more heat for you to contend with. Our According to our review, the 1.33GHz T-bird runs "hot, hot, hot." It should be about as refreshing as a cool glass of iced tea that the new ThermoEngine heat sink is willing and able to keep your new CPU as cool as it can get.
Matched with a black label Delta fan turning at 7000 RPMs and pushing an amazing 38cfm of air, this combo even bests the PAL6035 and PEP66 heat sinks from Alpha. Now that's saying something. For even the ardent overclocker, the air-cooled ThermoEngine should give you maximum performance and overclocking ability.
