When Logitech released their competitively priced original Wingman Force 3D, I was pretty impressed to say the least. The footprint of this force feedback joystick was tiny, taking up less desk space than many regular non-force feedback sticks. Despite this, the force feedback effects were noticeable and pretty satisfying. My main gripes with the stick were that it could've done with a few more buttons and the movement range of the joystick didn't feel like quite enough. Little did I know that while I was testing the Wingman Force 3D, Logitech were hard at work on a bigger, better and just plain cooler joystick with the only trade off being a slightly higher price tag. The end result of these efforts is the new Wingman Strike Force 3D.
