Ok, so the Magic Sound Live! didn't tickle my fancy enough to make me give it thumbs up but what about the speakers. The Speakers included in the Magic Theater Pro are of the wooden kind (no cheap plastic here), the fact that they are makes the entire package heavy (some 17kgs) so don't expect to walk around town with this package under your arm. There's six speakers in the kit, four satellites for front left / right and rear left / right, then there's a center speaker and a subwoofer.

The subwoofer is the hub in the setup and has all the connectors for the other speakers as well as for connecting the whole set to the computer, but more on that in the next section of this review. Instead, let's talk speaker specs. First off, let's take a closer look at the four satellites, these are the smallest speakers in the pack and have a 3" / 5Watt speaker in their 110 x 150 x 110mm shell (W / H / D) which handles frequencies from 200Hz all the way up to 20KHz, that pretty much covers the entire sound spectrum the human ear can receive. Then we have the center speaker, this one is identical to the 4 satellites in all but its look, the center speaker isn't quite as tall as the satellites but about twice as wide at some 235 x 110 x 110 (W / H / D).

Last but not least we've got the subwoofer, this is a big one with a 6.5" / 30 watt woofer inside the wooden casing which measures 200 x 235 x 310mm in size (W / H / D). The woofer is responsible for delivering those low sub 200Hz sounds and has a sound range of 30Hz up to 200Hz.

The speakers look pretty stylish in a nice black color with small "golden" plates on the front with the words "Sound Live" on them, this look makes the speakers candidates for a living room environment as well as for the computer. It is possible to connect any sound source to the speakers if you've got the appropriate outputs on your equipment and the cables to connect them.

Installing the speakers was a little trickier than installing the sound board, it wasn't overly complicated but it required a little more work than you'd be accustomed to installing a set of speakers. First, you have to position the six speakers strategically within the room, then you've got to attach the included cables which have a + / - pool into the actual speakers, now this was when the "complications" arose, the Y split wasn't deep enough so the cables didn't fit into the speakers from start, instead you had to deepen the cuts to make the Y split a bit bigger in order to actually get both sides into the speakers. After that bit was done all the speakers where connected to the subwoofer which then connects to the soundboard.

All done!
