Here's a robust list of the differences between the Mystique G200 and the Millenium G200 for those like myself, who love to "look at the pictures" instead of "reading the words":

Features that are automatically included with both of the cards since they use the same MGA-G200 2D/3D core are:

  • 128 bit DualBus Graphics Chip
  • 32-bpp "True Color" support for both 2D and 3D applications
  • Options for up to 16MB of SDRAM or SGRAM depending upon the implementation of the chip
  • 100 million pixels per second fill rate
  • .35 micron die-size enabling high core speeds and low cost
  • Single clock cycle rendering of Bi-linear Filtering
  • Hardware acceleration of DVD and MPEG 1 and 2 playback
Sharky Extreme benchmarked both the Millenium G200 and the Mystique G200 together, (even though this isn't a contest between the two cards, as they're apples and oranges) in an attempt to spot any substantial differences in performance.

As the chart below indicates, the cards performed virtually identically to one another, even in the 2D benchmarks where the Millenium G200 should be slightly faster.
