Regular readers of Sharky Extreme's Weekly CPU Prices know that the Intel Pentium III 450 ($220) and the Intel Celeron 400 ($111) are our favorite picks for the best price/performance CPUs currently on the market. Never before has so much power, and so much POTENTIAL power been packed into a CPU that costs so little.

Thanks to many requests, Sharky Extreme has produced a summary document of all our experiences in the CPU overclocking arena, basically a "how to" guide for the masses to use and consult when overclocking their own CPUs.

In the following article, we're going to take you step by step through the overclocking process that takes a Celeron 300 A, 333, 366, 400, 433, 466 or even the new 500MHz Celeron CPU up from their stock speeds to 450, 550, and 600MHz+. We cover the basics here folks, so this is strictly for the beginner to intermediate level overclocker. No previous overclocking experience is required.

We've updated and revised this guide to now include both new test data as well as our results with the new 500MHz Celeron CPU. The results may surprise you.

Enjoy, and good luck.
