As you can see, the specs haven't changed since our first look at the Rage Fury two months ago. The maximum resolution and refresh rates are still impressive to us today, and the level of support for multiple OSes, including a full OpenGL ICD, will be appreciated by buyers looking for a highly adaptable product.

Now that the drivers are finished, it's time to render a verdict on several aspects of the Rage Fury's aptitude. Performance and visual quality are of course the most important aspects to our readership, but we'll also be looking at the Fury's TV-Out and DVD acceleration features. In addition, Sharky Extreme busted out a $1,100 thermal probe for use in temperature evaluation of the Rage 128GL graphics processor's heat level. It's not easy to organize and setup, but the data's worth it…..Finally, we'll weigh in with the Fury's 2D speed, and then sum it all up with our typical Sharky Extreme rating on a scale from one to ten.

Let's begin.
