TNT2's strength lies in its ability to handle huge amounts of graphics data. Hence, NVIDIA has wisely specified aggressive memory clock speeds for the TNT2. The 'Diamond Viper 770 Ultra' board has a default memory clock of 183 MHz, the maximum attainable being 208 MHz.

The graph depicts 32-bit rendering at memory clocks of 110, 130, 150, 170 and 190 MHz at 1024x768 resolution. Core clock was set at 170 MHz. At 190 MHz memory clock, 'Unreal' and 'Quake2' continue to show a rising trend.

The maximum and minimum framerates are:

'Unreal' framerates

21.7 fps at 110 MHz core

32.2 fps at 190 MHz core

'Expendable' framerates
