Performance Mobile PC in $2000 to $2500 Price Range
- Q3 1999: Pentium II 366MHz mobile version. Pentium II 400MHz introduced and will be offered on .25micron & .18micron very late in the quarter. There's also a small chance that the Pentium III's (500 & 450MHz) will be introduced into this sector as well.
- Q4 1999: The Pentium II 400MHz (both .25 & .18) will start to fade out with the Pentium III 500 & 450MHz starting to dominate the sector.
- Q1 2000: Pentium III 600MHz & 550MHz processors (with Geyserville) introduced.
- Q2 2000: Pentium III 650MHz (w/ Geyserville) introduced and 600MHz still continuing to dominate the sector.
Performance Mobile PC in $1500 to $2000 Price Range
- Q3 1999: Pentium II 333MHz & 366MHz, mobile version on .25micron w/256K on-die L2 cache
- Q4 1999: Pentium II 400MHz introduced with 366MHz still going strong
- Q1 2000: Introduction of the Pentium III 500MHz and 450MHz (both without Geyserville)
- Q2 2000: Pentium III 550 w/ Geyserville introduced. Pentium III 500MHz without Geyseville still to dominate.
The $1500-$1800 Value Mobile PC
- Q3 1999: Celeron P6 400MHz on .25micron w/128K on-die L2 cache with Celeron 466MHz introduced late in the quarter.
- Q4 1999: Celeron P6 400MHz on .25micron w/128K on-die L2 cache
- Q1 2000: Introduction of the Celeron 500MHz with streaming SIMD extensions for the first time.
- Q2 2000: Introduction of a faster 5xxMHz Celeron- again with SIMD extensions.
The $1200-$1500 Value Mobile PC
- Q3 1999: Celeron P6 400MHz & 3666MHz on .25micron w/128K on-die L2 cache
- Q4 1999: Celeron P6 433MHz on .25micron introduced, with 400MHz dominating
- Q1 2000: Celeron 450MHz w/ SIMD extensions introduced. 466Mhz Celeron without SIMD also introduced.
- Q2 2000: Celeron 450MHz w/ SIMD. Celeron 500MHz with streaming SIMD extensions now introduced.
The $1000-$1200 Value Mobile PC
