Motocross Madness 2 is one of those games that everyone is bound to enjoy. The sense of speed is great, especially when you have cacti and other vegetation rushing past you. The many stunts all look impressive when you're countless feet above the ground and are great fun to pull off. Should you somehow get tired of the stunts though, there are a number of increasingly challenging racing modes, including a tournament option if you happen to have an evening to spare. Beyond that, there is multiplayer on a LAN or the Microsoft Gaming Zone where you can prove your superiority to other human riders rather than computer controller opponents, which is of course even more fun as I discovered. Normally I wouldn't try this sort of title but in spite of this it has actually proved a joy to play for hours on end. Whatever type of gamer you are it's worth a look as a change from fragging and fighting, especially if you've got a decent joypad or joystick to control it with.
