Picture the following brief argument between a PlayStation lover and a PC devotee:
PC Devotee: “My PC has 32 times more memory than your PlayStation, does bilinear filtering, Transformation and Lighting, Full Scene Anti-Aliasing, includes a DVD drive, a vastly superior processor and lots besides. Just what does your console have that my PC doesn't?”
PlayStation Lover: “Metal Gear Solid”
PC Devotee: “Oh. Um, yes. Er, there is that…”
And so the argument would end with the ego of the PC owner slightly bruised by three little words - Metal Gear Solid. It was THE game for the PlayStation, one of those rare titles that was so good, people would shell out the money for a PlayStation just so they could play this much talked-about title. Now, thanks to Microsoft, us PC lovers can finally see what all the fuss surrounding Metal Gear Solid was about without having to actually buy a PlayStation.
