Despite these unfortunately numerous complaints, Hitman has enough originality and entertainment value in there to just about redeem itself, and what good missions there were I did enjoy. Of course, I strongly hope that for the unofficially confirmed sequel they “pull a Thief 2” and give us more of what was good about the game and fix the numerous problems with it, particularly the bugs, voice acting and Rambo missions. Doing so would make for a much more entertaining experience overall. Hitman had the potential to be a classic but due to its various down points it ends up being merely better than average. If you're seriously into stealth games or just want to pretend you're an assassin like Leon or La Femme Nikita you'll probably enjoy it, but sadly that's about the limit of its appeal thanks to the numerous faults.
