In San Francisco, virtual stunt drivers are taught the fastest way to catch a departing ferry, shown the ropes in a cinematic chase scene and shown how to shake a determined police car. Of course, ramming into another car is part of the curriculum in this crash course in the "Bonnie & Collide" portion of the studies.
Additionally, for those looking for the action of the original game, there will still be the option to take part in quick races, blitz against the clock and checkpoint races, plus closed-loop course circuit races throughout the two different cities. This time around players can also take part in two new multiplayer modes with up to eight players including free-for-all, a race to find a hidden bar of gold somewhere in the city; and cops vs. robbers where players either are charged with safeguarding or stealing a bar of gold on its way to a bank. Once again players will also have the option to simply cruise around each city, probably causing needless but fun-filled destruction.
