Many readers based outside of Europe (in particular in the US) will have sniffed at some of Gremlin's previous endeavors and perhaps not even known. Those of you that jumped on to the 3Dfx bandwagon in the early days of the Diamond Monster 3D and Orchid Righteous may remember that the software bundle included VR Soccer and Fatal Racing. Both titles were developed by Gremlin Interactive and although now somewhat dated, back in their heyday they did indeed cut the mustard being in the first ever batch of 3D accelerated games. Other than that US readers may have heard of the likely lads at Gremlin via their partnership with US based publishers such as Midway Entertainment, Interplay and Fox Interactive.
Are you impressed yet? Probably not, so I'll press on with the important stuff- like which games are coming at when. So I'll let you press on and take a look at Gremlin Interactive's line-up for 1998, which they showed off at their rather impressive booth during this year's E3 (I was there and still have a piece of my liver to prove it!). When you're done you can then follow the links to the various p/reviews as well (lucky readers you).

As you can see, there's a trend in the above list isn't there? Yes, all these games will require the use of a 3D accelerator, which is rather spiffy if you ask me. More info can be had from the following p/reviews on Sharky Extreme. Finally make sure you check out Gremlin Interactive's Web Site, which has a cool retro section for 'old-school' gamers and can be found at www.gremlin.co.uk.
