E3 2000 was good news and bad news for flight simulation fans. The bad news is that only a handful of sims were there. The good news is that some of them, including B-17 II, looked very nice. This sim looks like it will have it all: great graphics, strong flight models, and lots of fun missions to fly. Players can fly the classic bomber or ride along in a gun turret position. Besides shooting duties, Hasbro says the radio operator and navigator spots in the plane can be manned. There will also be flyable fighters in the game, both American and German. Aircraft will feature fully functional virtual cockpits and instrumentation.
