In Dungeon Keeper 2, the sequel to Bullfrog's devilishly wonderful Dungeon Keeper, the Heroes from above have returned to thwart your wicked plans once again and it's going to be up to you to crush these foolish adventurers. And of course, keeping your minions satisfied in order to conquer the sunlit realms above goes a long way in a fantasy setting such as this one.

Dungeon Keeper 2 builds on the great gameplay of its predecessor and adds to it in the form of new levels, traps, spells and creatures to control. Dungeon Keeper 2 will also be blessed with improved internet multi-player gaming and last but definitely not least a brand new and very nifty looking 3D accelerated game engine (via Direct3D) that makes things look extra nasty. And if that wasn't enough Bullfrog promises to brighten our days with more fun in the form of additional creatures, spells etc, distributed free from their web site after the game has been released (an interesting concept indeed).

Dungeon Keeper 2 should be seeing the light of day some time this summer (as this is a Bullfrog game the release date is subject to change of course) but to ease the pain of waiting we've dug up a few shots for you to peek at:
