These characteristics will define all of the objects within Steel Rebellion, not just the vehicles. Forts, gun batteries, cannons and even standard weapons carried by soldiers all hold a distinct set of features. And speaking of weapons, Steel Rebellion will have dozens. We were held witness to an array of rockets, mega-cannons, machine guns… all in all well over 25 destructive toys will be available to wreak havoc with.
As if all this isn't enough, Funcom has developed a very in-depth storyline to go along with the what's sure to be amazing gameplay. The backstory alone is worthy of a Pulitzer prize, and involves enough deception, killing and betrayal to woo any Hollywood producer. Steel Rebellion should be available in the early parts of 1999. We'll keep you posted.
