Editorialist and industry parasite Andrew S. Bub stupidly answered the challenge posed by extremely insane developer/Supercross champion Stephane Roncada last week and successfully performed the dreaded heart-attack stunt in Motocross Madness 2 (see accompanying picture). Andrew is currently residing at St. Lukes Memorial Hospital in traction, his prognosis is good, and cash, chocolates, flowers or chocolate flowers wrapped in cash can be sent to his long-suffering wife Linda.
NOTE: Contrary to popular belief, rumor and innuendo, John Romero did NOT order Andrew's back broken by Jeff Gillooly. Well, maybe he did, but Jeff hasn't done his job yet.
Thirsty? Well Activision hopes you're a quart low as they've announced that Vampire: The Masquerade: Redemption: Too Many Subtitles has finally gone Gold and should be in stores soon. No jokes here but a lyric or two might be nice:
It was many years ago / That I became what I am / I was trapped into this life like an innocent lamb / Now I can never show my face... at Noon / And you'll only see me walking by the light of the moon / The brim of my hat hides the eye of a beast / I've the face of a sinner but the hands of a Priest / Oh you'll never see my shade or hear the sound of my feet / While there's a moon over...
Can you guess the singer and title of the song? Go ahead and try, email address is located at the beginning and end of the column. The winner gets... their name mentioned in next week's column -- Hey! What, am I made of money?
