Been watching the news lately? Seems we don't have a president-elect, who will be the prez then? Will this nation's enemies now strike? What else is new in the PC world? Could I have found the most tasteless game ever made? Who wins on MNF tonight? Does anybody really know what time it is? Does anybody really care? Plus: Who let the Sea Dogs out?

Quote of the Week: “The American People have spoken, we just don't know what they said yet.”
~President Bill Clinton

Tuesday night was the “second most exciting” night of television this country has ever seen (see the Monday Night Football report for the “most exciting”). Did Bush win? Did Gore? The Electoral College gives the victory to one and the popular vote went to another. Not to mention the scandal, possible fraud, messed up ballots and rampaging alligators in Florida. You did hear about those rampaging alligators, right? Regardless, in almost every possible way this was an insanely close race.

Beatdown would like to make a suggestion. We suggest both candidates head over to PlanetQuake and download the mod that rocks the vote hardcore. Quake III: Political Arena. They can deathmatch to see who the ultimate victor should be. (Editor's Note: Nader, Buchanan and Thresh are NOT allowed to participate. It's Gore vs. Bush only for this tournament).
