It's that crazy political season and that's the time when Bub starts thinking about his civic duties. He thinks about issues and candidates, he thinks about government and taxes, he thinks about fast food, he contemplates the military and social programs, basically he thinks about all kinds of stuff that occurs outside his office. Maybe you should start thinking about it too? Come on in, the politics run rampant here but the September PCData Top 10 is here to keep you company.

Game Quote of the Week: "I want to play with you, but the bad man makes me play bad."
~A Ghostly Child, Blair Witch 2: Legend of Coffin Rock

Quote of the Week: "Parents need your help. Ideally, that help would come in the form of higher standards for the products you make and lower levels of glorified violence and crude sexuality in our culture.”
~Senator Joseph Lieberman from an open email he sent to the entertainment industry.

Are you undecided? Do you have no idea whatsoever about who to vote for? Have you been basically ignoring the debates, the news coverage, the commercials, the editorials and the volumes and volumes of print/online media written analyzing these four choices? Have you been hearing people say to you: “Get out and vote!”

Don't listen to them. Don't. If you are so incredibly lazy and stupid that you can't tell the difference between Ralph Nader, George W. Bush and Al Gore, if you can't choose between them, you shouldn't be voting. The candidates differ widely on almost every issue, they represent completely different fat cats and special interest groups, and America underneath any of these men would be a vastly different place depending upon who gets elected. If you are an undecided or apathetic voter, by all means do not rock the vote. Don't flip a coin and don't listen to what your friends or parents recommend. Either stay home and don't vote at all, or start reading www.slate.com, Time, Newsweek, or The New Republic or something (anything), get informed and make a decision!

Meanwhile, why don't you go play some Daikatana, Star Trek: New Worlds, or Star Wars: Force Commander, someone like you would enjoy those games a lot, I think.
