Three volunteer counselors have brought a lawsuit asking for the recovery of “unpaid wages” for volunteer work they did, voluntarily, on Origin's wildly successful Ultima Online game. Attorney James Schmehl of Schmehl, Yowell & Mackler (hahahahee…um, excuse me) has filed a class action lawsuit against Origin Systems Inc. and Electronic Arts asking for three times minimum wage, plus overtime, for their previous services.

It sounds meritless, superfluous and silly doesn't it? I mean they worked voluntarily for free, right? They knew they wouldn't be paid and now they're suing for money. Yes, I think these three people (and everyone who joins them) are idiots of the highest degree. They volunteered countless hours of their time and knowingly took in return, something valued at $10 a month. I thought only silly amateur game websites like this one attracted such fools (just kidding).
