3dfx has a lot to crow about folks, for its first month the Voodoo 5 5500 AGP accelerator tops the PC Data charts. This adds to the sales record 3dfx has maintained for 15 straight months, trumping all their competition pretty much by flooding the market. Naturally their crowing press release ignores the fact that 3dfx is the only manufacturer and Nvidia cards are made by several companies. Add all the Nvidia sales together you get a higher number than 3dfx. That's marketing for you, folks. NOTE: I don't endorse either card. Yet….
