Creator of all things unholy, Simon & Schuster Interactive announced that they'll be releasing a parody of the awful (yet rather fun) Who Wants to Be a Millionaire PC game. The parody is titled Who Wants to Beat up a Millionaire and features 750 hilarious trivia questions by those responsible for Panty Raider, Last Call and Deer Avenger 1 & 2. At this point I want to beat up both Simon AND Schuster.

When Looking Glass Studios bit the big one just a few months ago, gamers everywhere gnashed their teeth, rended their clothing and stamped their feet in horror at the prospect the Thief series would perish. Thankfully, it was not to be as Eidos, under pressure from the news hounds at the fansite Through the Looking Glass, announced that they picked up the franchise and handed it over to Ion Storm.

Ion Storm!? You may be thinking in alarm. Yes, and it's perfect. It's going to the division of Ion Storm that developed the stealthy Deus Ex and specifically, their lead designer, Warren Spector. Spector created many Looking Glass favorites and even had a hand in developing the original Thief: The Dark Project. No plans have been made but Eidos claims several former LG employees have been retained for the project. You can't keep a good thief down it seems, and Garrett was among the best in the business.
