The American Medical Association released a study last week indicating that violent content indeed causes increased violence among youngsters. They cited film, television and video games as the primary culprits. One so-called "expert" actually stated: "Violent media should have warning labels like on cigarettes!"

My local Wisconsin paper ran the story showcasing a large screenshot of Mortal Kombat, thus indicating that only 10 year old coin-ops are the real danger here. I thereby urge all of my readers to AVOID MORTAL KOMBAT LIKE THE PLAGUE! Play something wholesome instead, like Soldier of Fortune, Grand Theft Auto, Kingpin or Postal.
