Summertime and the gaming is easy. Diablo II is burning up the charts, Icewind Dale is performing fairly well, Vampire is patched and so is (snicker) Daikatana. Still, the Summer Doldrums have officially begun. Watch me weather the nice weather, whether you like it or not!

Most PC games never break the one million mark, never. Heck, some game companies never break the one million sales mark! Blizzard has with their last four games. And Diablo II made it there in less than two weeks! This means your grandmother is probably playing Diablo II. Tell me, does she favor the brawny barbarian?

As Bob McKenzie (no really, his name is Bob McKenzie, no joke, yet) the Director of Merchandising for Babbages Software claimed, "Ok, eh? The rate at which Diablo II is selling is unprecedented. In a matter of days, the game has sold more copies than most PC products sell in their entire product cycle. This product is the Harry Potter of computer games."

Bob's brother Doug McKenzie added, "Take off, eh! Diablo II is a beauty. It's better than beer. And I don't say that too often y'know? The other games are a bunch of hosers."
