They Break the News, I Break it Again!

Microsoft busts a move and gamers lose their Halo. MTV promises to do for gaming what it's done for...um.... We got PCData results from the merry, merry month of May.

Bottom line is, folks, it's late June and everyone is holding their games anticipating the coming Blizzard (nobody wants to get caught in that mess). Does this slow news period make for a funny column about PC game news? You be the judge.

Game Quote of the Week: "I like not this talk of the skin of virgins." -from Vampire: The Masquerade -Redemption

Resistance proved futile as glorified independent gaming savior Bungie was ruthlessly bought out by the hive-minded Microsoft Collective. Evil-Henchman Take-Two Interactive is still planning to proudly push the anticipated 3rd person fighter/shooter Oni through their G.O.D. puppet state but the hotly anticipated 3D jeep movie, Halo, looks to be an XBox-only title at this time. Maybe it'll hit the PC one day in the far-flung future but you can bet your sweet acc-elerator it won't be available to (the rare and often sad handful of sad and deluded) Macintosh gamers.
