The long-awaited Viking inspired game Rune is about to arrive. The epic action/adventure title, which is heavily based on Norse mythology, promises to be more than just another hack and slash romp through the great north. Sharky Games recently had a chance to chance to chat with Human Head Studios' Timothy S. Gerritsen about the anticipated first-person adventure game.
Sharky Games: : What is actually your position at Human Head Software and on the Rune title?
Timothy Gerritsen: : I am the business manager for the company, but we are pretty small, we've got 20 full-time and two part-time people. So everybody wears a lot of different hats…I split my time between Blair Witch (The Legend of Coffin Rock) and Rune. Rune has 12 people permanently assigned and a couple of people half time on the project.
Sharky Games: Would you see yourself as the Thor behind the game? Or maybe Oden?
Timothy Gerritsen: : Actually, it's Odin.
Sharky Games: Yeah, that is what I meant. Really!
Timothy Gerritsen: : No, not at all. There are 14 full time staff on the game at present, and every one of them was responsible for this game.
