Jason Hall: Well, most people would say "a rating system," but I think the current ratings system is fine. The area of improvement needs to be done on the retailers' side of things. They are the ones selling "mature" games to 10-year olds.
Try having a 10-year-old walk in to a 7-eleven and try to buy some pornographic magazines...the sale would not happen. You see, in that case the retailer is preventing the sale of inappropriate content to children. Software retailers should have a system in place that can prevent inappropriate software from getting in to the wrong hands.
I mean heck! We could make a game called "This game is only for people 21 and over," then we could plaster "restricted" and "mature" signs all over the box, and a 10-year old could still walk into a retailer and buy that game these days...
