Cancel ObeWan for the PC?!

Develop it exclusively for some non-existent console?!?

Has anyone seen THIS??

I like the part where they say "..limitations of technology and the company's recently heightened quality standards."

Since when is a PC a limitation of technology compared to a console?

They are going to lose a lot of people who were hanging on to the company just because Jedi Knight was so good. Especially in light of so many recent crap games with the Star Wars license.

This is one very disappointed puppy.

hmm, yet another developer with no vision or insight......
by saying limitation of technology i think they meant limitation of THEIR technology

Dunno.

Funnier is the part about "heightened quality standards". This from the company that put out Force Commander, and Super Bombad Racing. if quality standards exists in Lucasgames - it's not in the Star Wars Department.

Yeah, that got me too (on both counts). I think they must've just got sick of messing hardware with compatibility issues and switched to a console (my money is most certainly on the XBOx as their new platform).

You hit the nail on the head there Pete. Xbox pays good money... That's where we'll see 'em.

If it hadn't been delayed so many times already it would have been out Xmas last year

While LucasArts probably won't change their minds, there is a petition to get the game..."un-cancelled" http://www.petitiononline.com/mod_perl/signed.cgi?ob1pc
