Things like L337 make me crazy. Are people really that lazy or don't have enough time to type what these things really are? I don't get it.

brb... my comp's proc is getting hot. my ram is dead, my scsi hd (10gb @10k rpm) is warm, my mobo is melting and the agp video card is on fire.

Abbreviations are fine. Wouldn't you rather type brb over "be right back"?I don't care much for "l33t speak" myself. I guess it's punishment that I end up in a clan named "ph33r."

I guess what I really hate is weird internet lingo that makes no sense. I don't mind abbreviations for hard drive, random access memory, or compact disk re-writable drive.
