Does anyone knows somenthing about starcraft 2??????

It will probably be after WarCraft III before we hear anything about Starcraft II. With the way broodwar ended, it sure looks as if there will be a sequil.

Blizzard has thier hands full with the release of warcraftIII, and the constant hacker problem with Diablo2.

I'm one of the "originals" that hopped on the starcraft bandwagon some 3 years ago. I can't wait for Craft2.

Star2 will probably be announced just before the release of war3. After the way star1 ended, with Kerrigan winning, and the protoss/zerg hybrids, a sequel is a must.

Hacker problems with Diablo2? I don't care, when Starcraft 1.08 coming out? Every idiot who can't play has a map hack.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if Blizz doesn't have Warcraft 3 released till mid 2002, which probably puts starcraft 2 at 2005, 2006 perhaps. I honestly think that anything less than revolutionary will be touted as a failure.

Starcraft 2 will be announced when they announce that the release of Warcraft III will be postponed like Warcraft III was announded when Diablo II was postponed and so forth and so on.

Rumors have it that that "starcraft:Final arrival" should be out by 1st quarter 2002.
Like i said...rumors...altho this one is one i hope is true...just like that rumor about monica having a threesome with the clinton's : )

It won't be for a while. Probably not announced till WAY after Warcraft III is out. Blizzard supports its new games very very well and donate a huge amount of time to patches and the like for War3.

i never really liked the concept of warcraft 3............making an rts where you focus on upgrading and leveling every single unit? cmon, thats far too much micromanagement. and giving every unit equipment and inventory. ya, in a battle you have time to make every single unit use an individual item.

That sucks having to wait to even wait for a release date..waiting for a date for production is worse....

scII wont likely be mentioned for a good 4-5 months, blizzard is usually slow in making games...but the wait is worth it

I heard a rumor that SCII was going to be released in early 2001...what gives now? I was looking for it in stores over chrismas hoping it would be out early? What happened?

Heh, well whatever rumor you heard it was totally bogus. StarCraft II hasn't even been officially announced yet, my guess is that Blizzard will announced somtime this summer and the actual game might be out late in 2003/early 2004.

Yeah.. Xel'naga should return and wipe its mess I hope its unit can transform into something cool. BTW, What's the spaceship that destroyed spacestation in original StarCraft? it doesn't fit to any of brood.. and Is that 2 zerglings or 2 hydras on Broodwar intro movie?
