Microsoft Xbox Unclothed!
- January 10th, 2001
Bill Gates formally announced Microsoft's entry into the console market last March in his keynote address at the Game Developer's Conference, and there was a flashy Xbox booth at E3 2000, but it wasn't until this week at CES that the public got a chance to see the final look of the system and of course its all-important gamepad.
PS2 Games Overview
- December 8th, 2000
In this article we give some capsule impressions of the PS2 games line-up after putzing about with the console for a couple of weeks. Not all of the titles have made it to us yet, but most of the majors are represented. Nintendo GameCube Preview
- December 1st, 2000
With a projected shipping date of July 2001 in Japan and October 2001 in the United States, there is no doubt that Nintendo's project will compete against both the Playstation 2 and the XBox. - November 6, 2000
Some say that mass distributing a low-end DVD player in this way to the great unwashed only threatens to dilute the hobby. Heavens, it might even invite DVD makers to include extra interactive or gaming material on disks that only play on PS2s. But worst of all, and this is the true nightmare of all aficionados, when everyone has a DVD player, we won't feel special anymore.

SEGA Dreamcast Review
- January 21st 2000
Yes, the DreamCast is a console, and at $199, it's inexpensive for new cutting edge console technology. For less than the cost of an SDR SDRAM GeForce, it plays games with speed and graphics quality that would take an $800 computer to match. But it's more than just a console.
