Based in the award-winning Fallout universe, Fallout Tactics blends tactical combat with a post nuclear environment resulting in an innovative gaming experience. Fallout Tactics is now available at retail for Windows(R) 95/98/00/ME-based computers.Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel expands the Fallout franchise into exciting new directions. It is the first game to bring multiplayer gaming to the Fallout series. It adds true vehicular combat (tanks, APCs and even Dune Buggies). In addition, the Fallout tactical combat system has been refined. The consequences of the players' actions have an impact on the storyline and mission development. Players have complete control over their party members, unlike previous Fallout games. Mutants, robots, two-headed cows, gangers and ghouls are all targets for pistols, flame-throwers, rocket launchers and energy weapons. Today in Beatdown #45: I'm 1/8th Irish. Which is actually more than I am anything else in particular (except Polish, but we don't talk that up so much in my family). So, I'm Irish. But guess what? The Canadian Interactive Digital Software Association (CIDSA) and the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) today announced that they will be launching a nation-wide consumer education program to inform consumers on the age appropriateness and content of video games, effective immediately."Our plan is to provide all major video game retail outlets with both information posters and pamphlets, providing the consumer with the information they need to make informed purchase and rental decisions for their families," stated Harvey Nightingale, CIDSA Executive Director. "We will also work with retailers to ensure their staff are familiar and knowledgeable about the ESRB ratings system."
