TBS Superstation's 'War Games' takes an action-packed twist to reality television by presenting the first ever in-depth television presentation of authentic combat-readiness scenarios. As a compliment to the special, WildTangent game developers and artists have captured these rare, up-close military competitions through six different missions. Players can put themselves on the cutting edge with an attack on entrenched enemy forces, the capture of a Chemical Weapons Storage Facility or by defending a strategic airfield. A squadron of real-life Armed Forces vehicles will be at their command, such as the M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle, the M1-A2 Abrams Tank and the Apache Helicopter. During the premiere of the show, viewers can retrieve special "codes" to qualify for an online tournament and compete for valuable prizes.

This morning, SUNFLOWERS has released three new details on ANNO 1503. Through the specific behavior of a city’s inhabitants the player gets to know their needs, e.g. for food, clothes, or certain buildings. The inhabitants for instance leave their houses when there is not enough to eat and go to the food stand near the market place, in order to buy some food. Afterwards, they return to their homes and the household’s need for food is satisfied. If food supply is short throughout the city, the inhabitants have to stand in line in front of the food stand which can lead to angry crowds. This kind of feedback allows the player to immediately see the needs of the inhabitants in his city. In addition to that, detailed information can be found in a menu. Furthermore, SUNFLOWERS announces that the team for future developments as well as for the current project will be enlarged by one AI programmer. ANNO 1503 will be released in October 2001.
