Electronic Arts has announced the release of SimCoaster, the ultimate sequel to the popular EA GAMES PC title Sim Theme Park. In SimCoaster players build, ride, and run the most gut-wrenching, face-twisting, pulse-pounding roller coasters of all time in the theme park of their dreams. Players create their dream parks with 100 rides, roller coasters, sideshows, and shops in three new and distinct themes: Arabian Nights, Land of Invention, and Polar Zone. As players build their dream theme park, they will research new rides, hire a staff and avoid bankruptcy. New features include an easy-to-use roller coaster design kit and a brand new storyline that challenges players to progress through fifteen challenging levels of play. Like Sim Theme Park, SimCoaster presents the parks in stunning 3D, supporting Direct3D hardware acceleration as well as non-accelerated PCs. The 3D engine has been vastly improved and now allows players to view a far greater area of their park. SimCoaster carries an ESRB rating of "E" for everyone. It is available in stores now for a suggested retail price of US $39.99.
