Microsoft today announced the release of the Dungeon Siege Fan Site Kit (FSK), a set of downloadable assets that will help fans to construct sites dedicated to the highly anticipated RPG title from Gas Powered Games. The FSK contains ten in-game screen shots, four screens of game concept art, 12 rendered character images, biographies of the development team, and logos. The kit may be downloaded from the official Dungeon Siege site.

Ubi Soft has acquired from the Guillemot Corporation its Canadian interactive software distribution division. Under the direction of Olivier Ernst, the new structure will employ ten people and will have as its principal objectives sales, distribution and promotion of Ubi Soft products nationwide. Among these products figure key titles such as F1 Racing Championship, Stupid Invaders, Disney's Donald Duck-Goin' Quackers and, of course, the celebrated Rayman series. Games from Red Storm, Blue Byte, and GAME Studios, the Entertainment division of The Learning Company, will reinforce the catalogue of products available to Canadian consumers with titles like Myst III Exile, The Settlers Series, and the Rainbow Six lineup.

Strategy First Inc. has released a demo for the recently released real-time strategy game, Waterloo Napoleon's Last Battle. To capture the pomp and pageantry of the Battle of Waterloo, the development team faithfully portrays all the uniforms and weaponry of the time. The battlefield is also realistically re-created to display all of the significant terrain and landmarks such as Hougoumont Complex, La Haye Sainte and Plancenoit Church.
